Each of the six elements can rotate independently full circle. The circular discs are made of transparent acrylic glass (also known as transparent plexi glass), a type of plastic that looks like glass but does not break. The mobile creates moving colored circles on the floor, wall or ceiling when a spotlight is pointed at it. This mobile is only 12 inches / 31 cm tall which makes it ideal for standard 8 foot / 2.4 meter ceilings.

I'm currently taking a break from making and shipping the handmade mobiles listed here (all mobiles are set to "Out Of Stock"). Starting May 14th 2013 I will have 3D-Printed-Mobiles available through our shop at Shapeways.

This mobile was handcrafted by me, ships fully assembled, and comes with a ceiling hook. All US customers receive their mobile within 7 days (international orders vary).

If for any reason you're not happy with this mobile when you receive it, simply mail it back to me within 30 days and I'll give you a full refund plus the cost of shipping it back to me. What if it gets damaged on the way back? I don't expect you to be an expert in packing a mobile, so I would still give you the full refund plus shipping cost. Please also note the feedback from previous customers on Etsy (where I also sell my mobiles).

This mobile is easy to install. All you have to do is:

1. Open the box
2. Screw the hook that comes with the mobile into the ceiling
3. Remove the protective materials from the mobile
4. Tie the transparent nylon string that's attached to the mobile to the hook
